The fine print, kept short
No lawyers were harmed. Here's what Kicksmash does with your stuff.
What we store
Your name, the matches you organize or join, scores and levels, and, only if you give them, your email and phone. If you sign in through Telegram or Discord we keep that account's id and username, nothing else from there. Your identity lives in a cookie on your device plus a private link, no password. A public page with your level exists only if you switch it on under My matches → Passport.
What we never do
Sell your data. Show ads. Email you for fun. Emails only go out for things you asked for: calendar invites, updates to matches you're in, reminders you switched on, and invitations an organizer sent you (with a one-tap 'never again' link).
Cookies
One functional cookie that remembers who you are, one for your language. No tracking, no third-party cookies, no banner needed.
Your rights
Change your name or email anytime. Turn notifications off. Download everything we hold about you as one file from My matches → Passport. Delete your account from My matches: your personal data disappears, your old scores stay as 'Deleted player' so your friends' history still adds up.
Terms
It's free. Be nice, show up, enter the score. The app comes as-is with no warranty; if a link breaks or a court double-books, that's between you and your padel buddies. We can remove abusive content or accounts.
Open source
Kicksmash is open source under the Apache 2.0 license. Read it, run it, build on it. The name and logo stay ours.
💬 Tell us what should change
One idea, one bug, one wish. I read every note myself and answer within a day. If it changes Kicksmash, you hear about it first, with what changed.
