What your padel level means
Kicksmash uses the 0 to 7 scale most padel apps use, in quarter steps. You declare it once; results move it a little; an organizer who played with you can confirm it.
The scale

An organizer can set a range. Inside it people join; outside it they ask, and the organizer decides. Presets:

Questions people ask
- How do I know my level?
- Read the scale above and pick the band that describes most of your matches, not your best day. Most people who play weekly and use the glass on purpose are 2.5 to 3.5. If unsure, pick the lower number: results correct it upwards.
- How does the level change after matches?
- Only when an organizer confirms a 2v2 score or finalizes a tournament. The change is small (at most ±0.10 per match, ±0.12 per tournament) and depends on the levels of everyone involved: beating stronger players moves you more. Unrated players never move anyone.
- What is the tick next to a level?
- An organizer who played with that person confirmed the level after the result. It stays while the level moves less than half a step. Rankings can rely on it.
- Is my level public?
- It shows as a small chip next to your first name on matches you are in. Club and city rankings list you only if you switch that on yourself.
